I’m sure you’ve noticed that I don’t wear bright colors too often. My wardrobe mostly consists of black and neutral separates. However, every once in a while I decide to switch things up and add some color, even sport a look without a touch of black. Gasp! Talk about leaving one’s comfort zone! I hope everyone had a great weekend! The weather in Chicago was just gorgeous – sunny and temperatures in the mid-80s! So, I decided to make some cutoff shorts and sport some espadrilles. A few subtle gold accessories and oversized shades bring everything together for a polished casual look.

The weather has finally shaped up and it’s warm enough to wear Summer clothes again! I love this front zip dress from H&M, it’s light and perfect for dressing up or down. These mirrored heels are fun and the perfect pop of excitement to a LBD.

An all white look feels chic and simple. I wanted to add something else to my look, so what better than a few black accessories and an open back vest. Just the right amount of texture and asymmetry to add some interest and keep it effortless.
