There’s nothing like a comfortable pair of relaxed boyfriend jeans. They’re so easy to dress up or down with the right pieces. Since the weather has been Spring-like in Chicago, I decided to unpack my strappy sandals and sport a casual linen long sleeve with my comfy boyfriend jeans.

Going for a monochromatic look in shades of grey and a few black pieces. Transitioning from winter clothes to lighter spring pieces is a challenge in the Midwest. The temperatures are up and down and it’s inconsistent for a good month and a half. My solution is to layer, but with lighter fabrics and I always have a scarf at arms reach!

A white button down with slate grey pants is a fresh look for spring. To keep it simple, I added some neutral accessories and a soft pink lip.

A favorite look of mine: blazer, denim and pumps. This is classic and will easily transition from season to season by switching up a few basic pieces. I always think it’s a great idea to invest in quality wardrobe staples that will last and remain timeless.

Time to pack away that down puffer coat and switch to a lighter trench coat. I’m SO excited to do just that! A trench coat is a wardrobe staple and such a versatile piece. I suggest finding something that can be worn to the office and with a pair of jeans and sneakers on the weekend. Here are a few options that are classic and perfect for this warmer weather.

Keeping it simple and neutral for this warmer weather! I love this lightweight linen long sleeve tee from Vince. It’s casual and goes perfect with a pair of black skinny jeans and slip-on sneakers. Everything just seems so much easier and better when the weather is nice. Ha!

It’s that in-between shoe season. You know, when you want to burn pack away your winter boots, but it’s still too chilly for flats or sandals.
