My go-to look is black and white. It’s flattering, effortless, and classic. I decided to dress it up by swapping out a pair of skinny jeans for a dressy black pant and going with a patent leather boot. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Chicago was hit with another snowstorm on Saturday, beginning in the wee hours of the morning and lasting until early evening. Somehow, I managed to be out and about the entire weekend, even in the frigid 15° temperatures on Sunday picking up a few more Christmas gifts. Layers over layers are my go-to as of late. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from winter’s heavy fabrics and switch to a delicate floral print. Neutrals pair nicely with this muted print, keeping the pants the main focal point. I love the oversized collar on this wool coat – it’s perfect for those (frequent) blustery winter days.
