A few items to make that transition into fall weather a little less painful! I’m loving all the rich hues, staggered hems and velvet I’m seeing everywhere this season. Layers and texture are key to staying warm and looking polished in crisp temperatures. I selected a variety of go-to and versatile pieces that carry from season to season. As you can see, it’s time for snow boots in Chicago. I found these Stuart Weitzman boots a few months ago when I began prepping my closet for winter clothes and assessing what warm accessories I needed to pick up this season to survive another winter. These boots have been great the past few days! They’re warm, waterproof AND fashionable! Well done, Stuart!

Oversized sweaters and other pieces of heavy knitwear are my plan for this winter. I love this hooded bouclé knit vest I found at Zara the other day. The bouclé yarn adds a lot of texture and feels extra luxurious. Since it’s a warm neutral, I decided to keep it simple and go with an all-black look and tall boots.

Some days call for my favorite tee and jeans. These are the pieces that always seem to work. I decided on this tiger tee and cozy cardigan – both from Target! A skinny jean and Chelsea boot complete my comfortable, yet polished look. Hope everyone is having a great week!

When going though my sweaters the other day, I found this graphic print from a few seasons ago. While I’ve been drawn to more minimalistic pieces this fall, it’s always fun to switch things up. I decided to pair it with some cargo pants and black boots for a relaxed look.
