Here are a few of my top picks from the Rag & Bone 2015 Ready-toWear collection. I’m loving the relaxed silhouettes and draping; it’s so effortlessly cool. The small crossbody bags are great, too. They remind me of a fanny pack, in a (good) Gucci belt bag kinnda way!

Summer is officially winding down, sad, I know! The weather was great this weekend in Chicago, but I definitely noticed a dip in the temps at night. I find it a bit challenging to make an easy transition into cooler temps and colors. A simple solution besides layers, are neutrals and black on black.
The weekend is here! Yay! My inspiration for this Friday, is this glass of çay I enjoyed while exploring Istanbul a few weeks ago.

I’ve always liked loafers (not to be confused with boat shoes); they’re both comfortable and versatile. I had my eye on several different pairs for a while, and finally decided on these Prada loafers I spotted in Rome. These will be a great shoe to transition into fall.
My weekend inspiration is Villa Borghese. About a week ago my husband and I toured the villa, and admired Cardinal Scipione Borghese’s stunning art collection. He was a patron of Bernini and Caravaggio. If you find yourself traveling to Rome anytime soon, I highly suggest spending an afternoon touring the villa and walking through the beautiful gardens. Mint lemonade is one of my favorite summer refreshments. This is also a very common beverage in Turkey, and believe me, I ordered it every chance I had on our recent visit to Istanbul! I suggest making it with sparking water for an extra crisp taste. Oh, and this is the BEST rose and honey Turkish Delight from Ucuzcular Baharat at the Spice Bazaar. 6-8 tbsp of simple syrup
sparkling water to taste
