A black blazer is a wardrobe staple. It pulls a look together and can easily be dressed up or down. All-black with a pop of snakeskin is effortless and chic, and a bold lip adds just the right amount of color. What are some of your wardrobe must-haves?
Have a happy and safe Halloween!
These illuminating powders from Chanel are just gorgeous! Almost too pretty to use. Each powder adds instant luminosity to the eyes, cheeks and décolleté. A radiant addition to any makeup routine, indeed.
Acne Studios launched underwear this month! They are available in a high-waist or classic brief cut and in a variety of neutral colors that include black, nude and white. Oh, they’re available for men too!

The weather in Chicago has been mild and tolerable these past few weeks. It’s supposed to be 70 today! Yay! But we all know it’s going to be legit sweater weather soon. Until then, you can find me outside running around while it’s warm.
weekend inspiration: My husband and I enjoy night photography and taking long exposures. This picture was taken when we were in Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A pencil skirt and black pumps are a wardrobe must-have. Both are ideal for work, interviews, luncheons, etc. I just picked up these d’Orsay pumps from Vince for a special luncheon I attended last week, and I love them! They’re comfortable, classic and the heel length is perfect. Seriously, I think I could walk all over the city in these.
