the parka
parka: Canada Goose // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // boots: Stuart Weitzman
If you live in Chicago, you must own a down parka to survive the winter. I believe that I now own the warmest down parka available. This Canada Goose is extra warm and the hood is oh-so-fluffy and cocoon-like to protect you from the (terrible) winter elements. By far, the greatest purchase I have made!

Louis Vuitton – ‘Series 2’ Second Opus
Check out this Spring/Summer 2015 Collection from Louis Vuitton. This was shot by Juergen Teller in a private Parisian townhouse. I love everything about this! Check out those boots and the changes to the iconic ‘LV’ logo.
belted
sweater: Bar III (similar here) // jeans: Zara // shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // belt: Prada
I love how belting an oversized sweater or cardigan can completely change a look. Keeping it simple with neutrals and clean lines.
inspiration: neutrals & gold
A great color combination is neutrals with gold accents. It’s luxurious, classic, and timeless. I love the palette of this gorgeous Greenwich Village townhouse. Those velvet sofas are perfect! And the black and white artwork adds just the right amount of balance to the room.

grey days
jacket: Vince // turtleneck: Club Monaco (similar here) // boots: Prada
Overcast and snowy winter weather always has me dressing in greys and other similar neutrals. Layering a blazer over a turtleneck is warm and keeps you looking good at the office. But seriously, Chicago needs some sunshine! Have a great Monday!

Haut Vol
I LOVE this short film ‘Haut Vol’ directed by Louis de Caunes on NOWNESS. Dancers Leonore Baulac and Alistair Madin from the Paris Opera Ballet dance beautify above the city with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Louis de Caunes highlights the architecture of the Palais Garnier and the light and space of Paris. This makes me want to be in Paris now!!
time for snow boots
shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs // sweater: Zara (similar here)// jeans: Armani Exchange // bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // boots: Stuart Weitzman
As you can see, it’s time for snow boots in Chicago. I found these Stuart Weitzman boots a few months ago when I began prepping my closet for winter clothes and assessing what warm accessories I needed to pick up this season to survive another winter. These boots have been great the past few days! They’re warm, waterproof AND fashionable! Well done, Stuart!
