Bright white with bold pops of black feel fresh and classic. I usually reserve my white denim for spring and summer, but it’s March and it’s almost spring! Maybe I’m just hopeful for warmer weather, but it’s always a great go-to look.
Weekend inspiration: This beautiful view is from a trip my husband and I took to the Virgin Islands a few years ago. It’s time for us to escape this winter weather to somewhere hot and sunny. More details on that later. Have a great weekend!

Tomboy chic is a comfortable choice for the middle of a busy week. I like to combine pieces that have structure and clean lines with slouchy boyfriend jeans and slip-on sneakers. It’s an easy way to dress down while looking polished and put together for the office. It’ll be even better when all this snow and glacier-like ice melt away!
The Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Bronze from Chanel is my go-to color. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and love the subtle shade it gives my cheekbones. Not only is it soft – feels like silk – but it has a beautiful rose aroma that leaves your face feeling fresh and looking radiant!

Keeping it simple with a monochromatic look. To me, all black is a great go-to, especially in winter when you’re mostly wearing layers and knitwear. To keep it interesting I added texture and a bright pop of cobalt blue. Have a great Monday!
weekend inspiration: The Gardens of Versailles. Louis XIV commissioned André Le Nôtre to design the gardens in 1661. Situated on the west side of the Château, the gardens cover over 800 hectares!
Take a peek at the 3.1 Phillip Lim Women’s Fall/Winter 2015 Runway Show. It’s everything you would expect: simple silhouettes with oversized cuts and draping, unexpected texture and a dark moody palette. Perfection! I need to wear all of this now!

I love the side zippers on this knit jumper. It’s a fun way to show off the crisp white button down I’m wearing underneath. I decided on a pair of ankle boots and skinny jeans, but this knit will also look great with a pair of distressed jeans and sneakers. Extra zippers are always a fun addition to any wardrobe staple!
