The Double Perfection Lumière from Chanel is hands-down my favorite powder makeup. I’ve been using it for years and love the natural and flawless effect it provides. It’s medium to full coverage, but for a lighter full-face application I use a kabuki brush and then use the provided sponge for the areas I need a bit more coverage – under eye area, blemishes, etc.

The weather in Chicago has been so warm these past few days! With nicer weather, comes lighter colors and fabrics. Hooray! A crisp white button down with bright blue jeans and loafers are perfect to transition into the warmer weather. Or, until it’s time for sandals!

It’s that in-between shoe season. You know, when you want to burn pack away your winter boots, but it’s still too chilly for flats or sandals. Here are a few highlights from the quick trip my husband and I made to Tulum, México. We had such an amazing time! It was the perfect way to escape the snow and cold of Chicago for an extended weekend. Our days were spent eating tacos, lounging in the sun, and enjoying margaritas! If you haven’t been, I highly recommend visiting and relaxing on the white beaches and exploring the Mayan ruins along the Yucatán Peninsula.
