I’m loving all the block heel sandals I’m seeing everywhere this Spring. Not only does this style look classic and elegant, it’s also comfortable! They’re perfect with skinny jeans and a tee, or a bit more dressed up for the office. Time for a pedi and new shoes!

I can’t wait to wear lighter fabrics and switch to a Spring wardrobe for good. Let’s put the boots and parkas away, please!! Since it’s still cold in Chicago and sweaters are a must, I’ve been sticking to neutrals and switching to slip-on sneakers and loafers when possible.

Apparently the label will be absorbed into the Marc Jacobs Collection, with the intention of providing a more unified brand and solid aesthetic. There will be a range of merchandise with price points appeasing to all shoppers and lovers of MBMJ….yes, so remain calm! No date has been announced yet, so go grab you favorite pieces before they’re gone!

Even if I do wear sunglasses year round, it’s always nice to add a new pair to your collection. Here are a few that can easily be worn year after year, and with a variety of outfits. I like to think of a pair of sunglasses as I do a great investment bag; quality over quantity.

Where did the warm Spring weather go? Temperatures have dipped back to the mid-thirties with snow flurries… c’mon, Chicago! So until it warms up and the flowers begin to bloom, I’ll wear my floral loafers inside and hope for Spring!
